No Nurse Left Behind: My Mission to Support and Empower Nursing Students
My Story
Hi, I’m Amanda—a registered nurse, educator, and founder of Nursing Quest, LLC. My nursing journey began in an accelerated program, where only 7 of 28 students graduated. The challenges were intense, and there were moments I doubted myself. Through perseverance, mentorship, and a strong support system, I discovered my passion for helping others succeed. The program that I was in had instructors coming and going. You could totally tell which ones were there to pass time and which ones were there to ignite a passion. It was like learning a new language and a new skill all at once, without a support manual. During my tenure in nursing school, I found myself becoming a peer mentor and “mini instructor” for my classmates which showed me the power of community and encouragement in nursing education.
Why I Created Nursing Quest
I launched Nursing Quest because I believe no nursing student should feel alone or unsupported. My mission is to empower, support, and uplift nursing students, new nurse educators, and anyone considering a nursing career. At Nursing Quest, I strive to:
